Giani Lincan is considered one of the best cimbalom players in the world. The Rumanian virtuoso, who lives in The Netherlands, is known to bring his audience into a state of ecstasy with his antique instrument, playing lightning fast solos and emotional atmospheric pieces. He plays various genres, from Gipsy Jazz and classical to Balkan folk music. At Bimhuis he performs with Costel Nitescu, a true musical heir to Stephane Grappelli, and special guest Emi Dragoi on the accordion.
