GÁBOR BOLLA QUARTET

Gábor Bolla-tenor saxophone, Róbert Szakcsi Lakatos-piano, Zoltán Oláh-bass, András Mohay-drums

The Hungarian saxophone player Gábor Bolla is only sixteen years old but already a sensational musician. He is not just the prodigy child that does flawless Parker solos but a powerful tenor player with integrity and maturity in the Rollins/Griffin/Coltrane tradition. He was invited by Hans Dulfer last March to do a couple of small concerts in the Netherlands. Now he will make his Bimhuis debut with his own Hungarian quartet.
