FRISELL TAKES ON KEATON, MORRISON & WOODRING

Bill Frisell-guitar, Tony Scherr-bass, Kenny Wollesen-drums, John Cocci visuals

The spacious sound of ambient and the complex string playing of bluegrass are just a few influences on the unique electric guitar sound of Bill Frisell. Aside from collaborations with numerous jazz and pop musicians Frisell has produced film music as well. With Tony Scherr and Kenny Wollesen, the rhythm section of Sex Mob, he creates live soundtracks to film collages of Bill Morrison, colourful animations of graphic novelist Jim Woodring and pre-war slapstick movies of comic genius Buster Keaton.
