FRANK MORGAN & TRIO REIN DE GRAAFF

In the year of the release of his debut album (1955) Frank Morgan disappeared from the stage because of a drug problem. However, with this one record he attracted enough attention to be recognized as the ‘new Charlie Parker’. In the following thirty years he spends most of his time in Californian prisons until he plans a surprising comeback in 1985. He records thirteen more albums and tonight, this remarkable musician performs with Trio Rein de Graaff.
