Ever since she won the Dutch Jazz Vocalist Competition in 1997 Francien van Tuinen has been held in high esteem as one of the best singers in The Netherlands. She has proven her compositional talents time and again on CDs such as Muzyka, with reinterpretations of classical compositions, and Perfect Blue Day, with intimate ballads and catchy dance grooves.
