FINALS DELOITTE JAZZ AWARD 2004 WITH THE JAZZ ORCHESTRA OF THE CONCERTGEBOUW

After violinist Oene van Geel (2002) and clarinet player/baritone saxophonist David Kweksilber (2003), a third ’talent deserving wider recognition’ will receive the Deloitte Jazz Award that consists of 20.000 euros. A jury of experts selected candidates from a large number of applicants for the preliminary round in April. Saxophonists Joris Roelofs and Tom Beek and pianist Erik van der Luijt will return to the Bimhuis for the finals. They will perform with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, led by Henk Meutgeert.
