It is
not easy to pin down EvanSanne. Singer Sanne Huijbregts and guitarist
Eran Har Even started out as an acoustic duo, who quickly started using
percussion and all kinds of electronics. Now they form a band with
Jeroen Batterink on drums and Itai Weissman on EWI (Electronic Wind
Instrument). EvenSanne plays narrative songs, in which the musicians
alternate each other with surprising timbres, bass lines and harmonies.
The band has earned praise from respected musicians such as Becca
Stevens, Gilad Hekselman and Mike Keneally.
