American-Swiss vocalist Erica Stucky is a superior entertainer, who makes the boundaries between art, kitsch and camp disappear. She overwhelms audiences with theatrical artistry and eccentric renditions of popular songs by such artists as Nirvana, Queen or Eminem. In the documentary Heimatklänge she paid tribute to the art of yodelling. Her current band Bubble Family combines electronic beats and swing with alphorn, tuba, accordion and ukulele. ‘Serious fun’ (Rolling Stone).
