Cornet player Eric Boeren is a great admirer of Ornette Coleman and, with his new group, is inspired by the free funk of Ornette’s legendary group Prime Time. Two electric guitars intertwining rhythmical patterns and melodies and an approach of the trumpet that goes back to the glory days of the 20’s and 30’s. Bern Nix performed on Prime Time Classics like Body Meta and Dancing In Your Head.
