ERDMANN 3000

Frank Mobus-guitar, Daniel Erdmann-tenor saxophone, Johannes Fink-bass, John Schroder-drums

In recent years Berlin rapidly grew into one of the most important playgrounds of contemporary European jazz and improvised music. The young saxophonist Daniel Erdmann documented the growing pains of his town in an unsentimental way and along that he is equally inspired by Igor Stravinski, The Dead Kennedys and John Coltrane. ‘Contemporary avant-garde jazz that is fun too’ (Jazzthing).
