EDU MIRANDA TRIO

Edu Miranda is renowned in his homeland Brazil for his mandolin playing. He is ranked among virtuoso colleagues like Hamilton de Holanda and he has performed with legendary artists like Gilberto Gil and Martinho Da Vila. For several years he has been living in Portugal, where he embraced fado music. His trio with guitarist Tuniko Goulart and drummer Giovani Goulart combines the virtuosity of the Brazilian choro with the melancholy of the fado.
