Three evenings in a row a number of leading Dutch jazz groups will be playing highlights from their current repertoire in the Bimhuis thus providing a colourful mosaic of contemporary Dutch jazz and improvised music. The Dutch Jazz Meeting, an initiative of Muziek Centrum Nederland, is a showcase for domestic and foreign concert and festival bookers and organizers as well as cultural attachés. They have been invited to attend performances, to meet colleagues and musicians and to take part in professional conferences. Tonight the Bimhuis cafe-restaurant will be serving a buffet menu instead of its usual a-la-carte menu (€ 15, from 18.30).
