A miniature festival for the adventurous listener. With their duo Tatiana Koleva and Rutger van Otterloo are crossing the boundaries between jazz, rock, folk and classical music which can be seen in their choice of repertoire (pieces by Christopher Fox, Bill Evans and Jacob ter Veldhuis a.o.). Spoon 3, with natural improvisors Jodi Gilbert, Albert van Veenendaal and Meinrad Kneer, is about confrontation and expression, about absurd, comical, poetic texts and about the interaction between acoustic instruments and electronics. The Industrial Jazz Group, the eclectic avant-garde ensemble from Los Angeles (with Wolter Wierbos), plays the bombastic and insane music of band leader Andrew Durkin.
