DUO HAN BENNINK/OSCAR JAN HOOGLAND, TRIO HOOGLAND/AUSTBØ/BAGGIANI, EKE

Time and again Oscar Jan Hoogland proves himself a vital force within the Dutch improv scene, ‘a sympathetic musician who is able to put things into perspective’ (de Volkskrant). The keyboard player put together a concert night for the Bimhuis, which starts with a duo performance with drummer Han Bennink, followed by the trio Hoogland/Austbø/Baggiani. Closing act is Eke, in which Hoogland plays electric clavichord alongside Yedo Gibson (Royal Improvisers Orchestra) and Gerri Jäger (Knalpot).
