There’s no lack of great jam sessions in Amsterdam. On Tuesday night our café is the place to be, while the Wednesday night is reserved for De Kring. Both nights are build up the same; a great opening band starts, followed by a session where everyone can join. For years our session is led by saxophonist Jasper Blom, while saxophonist Benjamin Herman leads De Kring session.
To celebrate 100 years of De Kring we decided to work together and organise two jam sessions in a row: One on Tuesday September 20 at our café, and one on Wednesday September 21 at De Kring. Jasper Blom and Benjamin Herman open both sessions together, accompanied by Thomas Pol on double bass, Joost Patocka on drums, Miguel Rodriguez on piano at De Kring and Timothy Banchet on piano at our café.
