Innovative vibes players are rare and Adasiewicz from Chicago is one of them. His trio Sun Rooms, featuring bassist Nate McBride and drummer/composer Mike Reed, will be performing in The Netherlands for the first time. In WoKaLi Wolter Wierbos plays trombone alongside the illustrious German improvisers Achim Kaufmann on piano and ‘hyperactive kid’ Christian Lillinger on drums. With his nine-piece Boerenbond ensemble cornet player Eric Boeren presents a new composition on an agricultural theme featuring star trumpet player Peter Evans.
