Kode9 is one of the architects of dubstep, the slowed-down, mutated form of drum-‘n-bass that surfaced in the London club scene. On his label Hyperdub the producer released a number of underground classics featuring the dark vocals of The Spaceape. The British duo is preceded by Dimlite (Sonar Kollektiv).
