DIMITAR BODUROV TRIO

In the beginning of 2007 pianist Dimitar Budorov won the YPF Pianoconcours Jazz that was held at the Bimhuis. The 27 year old Bulgarian graduated (cum laude) from the Rotterdam Music Conservatory in 2004. With his trio, founded in 2001, Bodurov blends jazz, classical and Bulgarian folk music. Recently his solo album Stamps from Bulgaria came out with improvised and composed pieces based on Bulgarian folk songs and dances.
