DAVID MURRAY BLACK SAINT QUARTET

Today David Murray is still one of the most productive and open-minded tenor players. In recent years he recorded CDs with African musicians, a gypsy ensemble and a Latin big band, among many other projects. His Black Saint Quartet is named after the Italian jazz label for which he recorded 17 albums between 1978 and 1993.
