The 26-piece David Kweksilber Big Band presents scintillating, groundbreaking and richly varied musical adventure. The line-up – made up of pioneering musicians from improvised and modern classical music, eccentrics, each of whom are virtuoso specialists and unique personalities on their instrument – inspires composers from divergent schools to write new work especially for DKBB. This concert includes premieres by Johanna Bluemink, Rozalie Hirs and Gilius van Bergeijk, along with various works from the spectacular treasure chest of compositions that have already been written for DKBB.

The Bimhuis restaurant is open prior to the concert from 6.30 til 8.30PM (reservations via 020 7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free entrance).
