The legendary double bassist Dave Holland has a special relation with the Bimhuis because of the wonderful performances he gave here with many bands since the 1970s.
His new all-star band Prism brings to mind the time Dave Holland played on innovative Miles Davis albums such as In a Silent Way and Bitches Brew. This is mainly due to the raw, organic guitar playing of Kevin Eubanks. The electric piano of Craig Taborn and the energetic drums of Eric Harland enhance the intense atmosphere. An exciting new chapter in Dave Holland’s monumental career.

is open prior to the concert from 6.30 til 8.30PM (reservations via
020-7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free
entrance).
