DAVE BURRELL – PIANO ‘ROUND MIDNIGHT

A special series of six free ‘late night’ concerts (Wednesday November 1 – Monday November 6) in the Bimhuis cafe in which pianist/composer Dave Burrel goes through the history of jazz. He made a name with his energetic play with pioneers of the avant-garde, like Archie Shepp, Pharoah Sanders, Roswell Budd and Sunny Murray in the 60’s and 70’s.
