DAVE BURRELL

Pianist/composer Dave Burrell made a name with his lively play with pioneers of the avant-garde like Archie Shepp, Pharoah Sanders, Roswell Rudd and Sunny Murray in the 60’s and 70’s. Since then he deepened his musical range by, for instance, studying Jelly Roll Morton’s stride piano style.
