Dans Dans unites the talents of three of Belgium’s most prolific music makers: Bert Dockx (Flying Horseman, Ottla), Fred Lyenn Jacques (Lyenn, The Mark Lanegan Band) and Steven Cassiers (Dez Mona, DAAU), who joined forces in the clubs of Brussels and quickly broke through to the festival circuit. Their fifth studio album Zink Zink is another surprising set full of captivating cinematic music that cannot pe pinned down. With the new album ‘6’ which released on September 30 they respond to the social distancing from the COVID-times. With abstract postrock and daring dreamworlds, the music is as alive as ever.

With it close-knit interplay, subtle connections and deep layering, Dans Dans cannot be labeled as fusion, rock, jazz or ambient. This is the sound of a timeless, mysterious dream, of the heart, the gut and the soul. Styles and influences are being blended organically and sublimated into what can only be called Dans Dans music.
