CRISTINA ZAVALLONI ‘METTI UNA SERA…’

The Italian vocalist Christina Zavalloni has earned herself a name over here in the past years with her contribution to music-theatrical works by Louis Andriessen, her guest appearance with Roy Pacis Banda at the Crossing Border Festival and of course her four previous Bimhuis concerts. This time, she presents a completely new repertoire, loosely inspired on the Italian popular music of the late 60’s and early 70’s, with special guest cellist Ernst Reijseger. This concert is part of the European Jazz Odyssey and has been made possible by the financial support of the European Community and Istituto Italiano di Cultura per i Paesi Bassi.
