Craig Taborn. The American keyboardist has repeatedly topped the
Downbeat Critics Polls in the categories Rising Star Piano and
Electronic Keyboard. He first attracted attention as a sideman with
James Carter and Chris Potter. The improvised music of his trio touches
on classical, ambient and gamelan music, with jazz and blues as anchors.
