CRAIG TABORN TRIO

Piano and synthesizer improviser Craig Taborn is counted among the most important American jazz musicians of his generation. In the last ten years he has appeared on more than fifty albums. Pure jazz with James Carter, techno crossover with Detroit DJ Carl Craig and adventurous improvisations with Time Berne; all these influences reappear on the album Junk Magic and during trio performances. ‘When he wants to, Taborn can speed skate over the keys like a young Cecil Taylor.
