Fred Frith misses playing in a rock band. The pioneering avant-garde guitarist, who became professor of composition after a 40-year career, revisits the group chemistry with Cosa Brava. Zeena Parkins, the multi-instrumentalist who collaborated with Bjork and Yoko Ono, played with Frith in the art rock trio Skeleton Crew. Violin player Carla Kihlstedt and drummer Matthias Bossi from the adventurous rock group Sleepytime Gorilla Museum complete this brand new quartet.
