Cor Fuhler remains a playful ‘young explorer’ in everything he does, ‘when I try this is it fun?’ With his nonet, existing of players from all the corners of the musical world, he plays around, again, without a preconceived diagram with the materials: melodies, riffs, contrasting sounds, bass lines, that the musicians can use to create different structures while his own lyrical and witty style remains recognizable.
