Cor Fuhler considers music to be something that consists of separate blocks that you can take apart and put together again in various ways. In this large setting you can view them as stylistic blocks: jazz, improvisation, electronics, and punk can form an endless number of combinations. As composer, Fuhler delivers building material in the shape of fetching riffs, bass figures and melody lines with which the musicians can do whatever they like. This results in characteristic Cor sounds: playful, witty, colorful and slightly eccentric.
