Self-styled American-born, Amsterdam-based sax and clarinet player Michael Moore shares his experiences and explains how to create your own style within jazz.

How can you create a personal style within jazz? Around 30 years ago, sax/clarinet player Michael Moore moved to The Netherlands into the heart of the improvised music scene. He constantly provides new impulses to the Amsterdam scene, whether as a composing member of the ICP Orchestra or as leader of his own bands. The California-born reeds player combines the best of different worlds: the finesse of the American jazz tradition, the anarchy of New Dutch Swing and the unusual sounds of non-Western folk music. In his clinic Moore will share his experience and will explain how you can create your own style.
