Trumpet player Christian Scott is one of the brightest stars of the new generation of jazz musicians. According to American critics his CD Rewind That is the most important jazz debut of the last decade. As a teenager he was already in demand with artists like Prince, Jill Scott and Mos Def. On the one hand his music is unconventional, with influences from J Dilla to Radiohead; on the other hand it perfectly fits into the jazz tradition of his hometown New Orleans.
