Chris Potter is an absolute role model for young jazz saxophonists all over the world. His spontaneous solos seem like beautifully rounded compositions en are being studied and copied note for note. ‘There’s almost nothing he cannot accomplish on the saxophone’, Downbeat writes. Bimhuis visitors have gotten to know him as well through his breathtaking, powerful performances with Dave Holland. His own band Underground guarantees intense electric groove jazz. Drummer Nate Smith lays the foundation for the propulsive bass lines of Firma Ephron and the colorful chords of guitarist Adam Rogers.

The Bimhuis restaurant is open prior to the concert from 6.30 til 8.30PM (reservations via 020-7882158). After the concert, the Bimhuis Café is open (free entrance).
