CHRIS POTTER BAND

Chris Potter, one of the most celebrated tenor players of this moment, is a musical chameleon. Last year he appeared at the Bimhuis with his post bop quartet and with this formation he refers to his fascination for the world of rock and funk. In his band we find the unique Wayne Krantz (ex sideman Steely Dan, Michael Brecker, Billy Cobham), the great bass guitarist Fima Ephron (Screaming Headless Torsos, Hasidic New Wave) and young drum wizard Ari Hoenig (Dave Liebman, Richard Bona).
