Under the moniker Chicago Blues Festival a variable super group from blues capitol Chicago has been touring Europe every year since 1970. A solid mainstay in the group is drummer Willie Hayes, who played with all the Chicago legends, from Muddy Waters to Buddy Guy. With bassist Russell Jackson (B.B. King Orchestra) and pianist Ken Saydak (Big Shoulders) he accompanies three impressive vocalists: D.C. Bellamy (Curtis Mayfield’s half brother), Andrew “Jr. Boy” Jones and Shakura S’Aida.
