Her first album Dindinha received excellent reviews worldwide and ever since Ceumar has been recognized as one of the pearls of the ”Musica Popular do Brasil”. In her music Ceumar combines in a unique way Brazilian folk with influences from pop, jazz and samba. At the Bimhuis she presents her 5th CD ‘Live in Amsterdam’ and will be accompanied by Mike Del Ferro, Olaf Keus and Tomas Merlo. ‘Céu means heaven, mar means sea.
