Cellist Johannes Bergion has been a composer and member of Swedish avant-garde metal and cult band Diablo Swing Orchestra since its inception in 2003. The band has produced five albums to date in which blaring metal, swinging jazz, Mexican folklore and classical music juxtapose one another in rapid succession.

But Johannes is more than just a metalhead, he also duets with bass player David Werthén, his oldest and dearest friend with whom he’s been performing since they were kids. Together, Bergion and Werthén make sparks fly with their multifaceted mix of jazz, swing and contemporary music with a dash of rock thrown in for good measure!
