We became better acquainted with Matthieu Saglio as the swinging cellist in the jazz-blues formation and public favourite NES during our very first CELLOFEST back in 2018. This year, he’ll be back with his own quartet! They’ll be performing numbers from Saglio’s latest CD El camino de los vientos [‘The Way of the Winds’] – jazzy improvisations, classical solos, African rhythms, Arabic quarter tones, flamenco-style influences and much, much more.
