They hardly need an announcement. The Cello Biennale first brought the then unknown jazz/rock duo BartolomeyBittmann to the Netherlands in 2016, after which things went fast. The energy, perfection and virtuosity of cellist Matthias Bartolomey and violinist and mandola player Klemens Bittmann – and above all their own catchy compositions – made them instant audience favourites. And not only in the Netherlands; the duo is now on its way to becoming world famous.
