The American trumpet player won a Grammy for his album with Eddie Palmieri, he ranks high in recent Downbeat polls and has played with such big names as Phil Woods and Prince. ‘Lynch has created an exceptional illustration of the verdant common ground between Afro-Caribbean music and bebop’ (Downbeat). Bye-Ya consists of musicians with five different nationalities who mainly play original compositions.
