Oslo-based power trio Bushman’s Revenge mixes the freedom of jazz with the energy of rock. For two decades they have been exploring outer regions, from avant-jazz in the vein of Albert Ayler and John Coltrane to guitar explosions reminiscent of Cream, Jimi Hendrix, and Black Sabbath. This year the band will celebrate its twentieth anniversary with All the Better for Seeing You, their eleventh album.

Eyecatcher of the band is Even Helte Hermansen on electric guitar, who wrote all the songs on the new album. He previously played in The Shining, and Eple Trio. Drummer Gard Nilssen has played on our stage before, with Cortex and Acoustic Unity. Bassist Ole Morten Vågan is the current artistic director of the Trondheim Jazz Orchestra.
