On Sunday night (attention: starts 8 p.m.), the Bimhuis will be transformed into a Magyar Táncház, a Hungarian dance hall, in collaboration with Netwerk Hongaarse Volksmuziek. This evening will be opened with short concerts by János Zerkula & Szigony and Magyarpalatka, in which Dezsõ Fitos and Enikõ Kocsis of dance group Ordasok will demonstrate dances from Giymes and Palatka, preceded by a series of workshops in the afternoon. For (semi) professional instrumentalists, the traditional use of the violin, flute, gardon, contra and double bass will be explained by the masters. Participants are offered the opportunity to learn to sing ancient folk songs from Gyimes and Palatka led by a vocalist from the Carpathians and accompanied by live music there is a chance to study Hungarian dances.
