Brass Rave Unit literally blows away the DJ booth and ignites raves everywhere, no matter the time or place. Originally an acoustic trio with saxophones and drums, they developed into a fully-formed electronic festival act with the help of smart effects and synthesizers. But still, these are three musicians with lungs of steel and the energy to match, who cross borders and defy genre expectations.

This spring will see the release of Liquid Era, the third album by Brass Rave Unit. The band gave scintillating shows at festivals such as Glastonbury and Best Kept Secret, but also on the Paradiso main stage. Band members Ko, Bo and Dirk, who come from the Amsterdam underground, take inspiration from everything from acid house to trance and techno, which they transform into organic beats that set everything into motion. No fixed patterns, no repetition, but pure, instinctive energy to counter the stagnation of the present day and celebrate the collective experience.
