BRAD MEHLDAU SOLO

For three nights in a row the Bimhuis has an illustrious house pianist. Both with his trio and as a solo pianist. Brad Mehldau has gained a world wide audience. His recent solo album Live in Marciac was voted best CD of the year in the authoritative Downbeat Readers Poll. A Mehldau concert is an awe-inspiring event: standards, contemporary pop/rock and original compositions are unraveled and bound together into a fresh, coherent narrative. ‘He’s on fire, inspired, out there, playing with the gods’ (The Independent).

The concert will be 1 set of approximately 90 minutes, no intermission. Absolutely no photo shooting is allowed during this concert.
