BOJAN Z TRIO

Pianist Bojan Zulfikarpasic, born in Sarajevo and living in Paris is recognised as one of the major pianists of recent years. He definitely has a style of his own which ranges from massive orchestral pianism with spirited harmonies and melodic notes and phrases to minimal music of great simplicity and lyricism. On his powerful album; ‘Transpacifik’ recorded in New York, Bojan holds us breathless with his graceful interpretations of bob-standards interlaced with the musical traditions of the Balkans. This concert is part of the European Jazz Odyssey and has been made possible with the financial support of the European Community.
