BOBBY PREVITE’S NEW BUMP FEAT. ELLERY ESKELIN, BILL WARE, BRAD JONES

in collaboration with VPRO Radio

Ellery Eskelin-tenor sax, Bill Ware-vibes, Brad Jones-bass, Bobby Previte-drums

The wild melting pot of the New York downtown scene, where jazz, punk and hip-hop intersected, produced prominent band leaders and composers. Saxophone player John Zorn for example, as well as drummer Bobby Previte constantly challenged themselves and managed to reach wide audiences in the process. Previte’s red hot quartet New Bump will release its first CD this May. ‘A serious composer with the heart of a roadhouse rocker’ (Village Voice).
