Boban Marković Orkestar

For a thrilling, rythmical Balkan party you have to go and see the legendary Boban Markovic Orkestar. Known for the soundtrack of Emir Kusturica’s crowned Underground (1995) and Black Cat, White Cat (1998), and on the top of the brass-music for more than 30 years.

‘I didn’t know you could play the trumpet tha well!’ said Miles Davis when he heard Boban Marković play. It’s no suprise Marković is a five time winner of the prestigious ‘First Trumpet’-prize on the Guča Trumpet Festival in Serbia. Marković will present a giant party with a brass-section of eight and two percussionists.
