A unique fusion of two musical island cultures. Bob Brozman, the king of Hawaii slide guitar meets master accordeonist René Lacaille of the island La Réunion. Lacaille has been playing accordeon since he was seven years old. Originally he played the styles of his island in the Indian ocean like the seka and maloya. While touring in France he became interested in jazz and fusion. Bob Brozman had already established a name as slide guitarist when he became exclusively hooked to the music of Hawaii in the eighties. We all know what came out of that.
