Blindnote is a successful symbiosis of various kinds of folk music from all over the world. The eye-catchers of this international super group, singer Talike Gelle from Madagascar, and singer Malick Pathé Sow from Senegal, are flanked by musicians from Mexico, Turkey and Armenia. Blindnote draws attention to the fate of blind people and Africa by starting their performance in the dark, before gradually taking the audience along on an audiovisual journey. Leading world music magazine Songlines touted their CD Blindnote as one of the best of the past year.
