Duo Penossi + DJ Radikal Rupert

DJ Duo Penossi have been playing records together for 10 years. Future music from the past, found objects, better B-sides, LPs without covers, forgotten secrets, local excavations, garbage cans drums and especially a lot of tropicuritas. They can be heard on 106.8 CITY FM every week in their radio program Hotmamahot. They have recently started their own record shop – Platypus Records – on the Zeedijk in Amsterdam, with a wide selection of vinyl from all genres and regions.

Resident DJ Radikal Rupert invites “crate diggers” with a unique sound/record selection for every edition of BIMHUIS SOUNDSYSTEM. With the Amsterdam skyline as a backdrop, two turntables and a mixer at their disposal, they bring a diverse, surprising, danceable club evening that leaves the boundaries of the mainstream behind.
